Oscar Night's Fashion Winners

How much fun were the Oscars this year?!  The show was fun, full of surprises, made breezy due to great banter between the two hosts, and even included that random dance routine (which I could have lived without).  The red carpet didn’t disappoint either!  My favorite starlets were out in full fashion force and they ALL looked lovely.

These are my top picks from last night! Jenifer Lopez’s  silk organza gown from Armani Privé’s Spring 2010 collection and Demi Moore’s ruffled silk organza gown from Atelier Versace were just stunning.  Either of these dresses could be transitioned into wedding gowns! And I just adore Vera Farmiga’s ruffled fuchsia gown from Marchesa–she evoked old Hollywood glamor perfectly!  Which dresses were your favorite?

Check out all the great highlights and celebrity post-show plans from the Oscar after-parties!!!  After arriving at the Govenor’s Ball, Sandra Bullock told reporters she just wants ”to eat and not worry that this dress will bust open!”  Don’t you just love her!

Workin on my fitness…

I’ve always enjoyed working out since it allows me to release stress and focus on nothing related to work, relationships, or those two cupcakes I inhaled for dinner last night…yes dinner.  I ate cupcakes for dinner and they were delicious, but that’s why I work out right? At least that’s how I justify eating so irresponsibly…

I must say though that when I go to the gym I love to look good, so that while my side swept bangs become matted to my face, at least I’m fashionable.  Here are some great pieces that fit/feel great and easily transition from yoga to pilates to cardio.

Just for YOU, I’ve also listed my workout regime that has never failed me.  This sounds like a LOT of work, but it’s really not.  If I do cardio & pilates in one day, then the ”list” becomes shorter to complete.

  • Cardio for 30 minutes (treadmill or elliptical): 3 days per week
  • Windsor Pilates DVD: 2 to 3 days per week
  • Unique fun class at the gym (Ballet, Toning, or Yoga): 1 day per week

My fav magazine, InStyle, has also gathered some of Hollywood’s Starlets’ workouts too! See how Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Kate Hudson, and others get in shape. The piece also gives out specific workouts from their trainers!
